In 2015, the father and son tandem, Daniel S. Moore, Sr. and Daniel R. Moore, created Gentis with the idea that they could do it better. Daniel R. Moore, a former CIO, combined his affinity for technology, processes, and his years of experience as an industry consumer, with the decades worth of knowledge his father accumulated as a staffing provider. Both have always believed that people are what make a great business; and so, Gentis Solutions combines a people powered philosophy with technology and institutional knowledge to help professionals find jobs and to help companies find the right talent.

People are more than the credentials listed on their resumes, and since the beginning, Gentis has used video as a way for people to demonstrate their skills, desire to learn, and their potential for becoming exactly what professional teams need to succeed. This effective innovation has led to the company doubling in size in each of its first four years, and it continues to grow at a significant pace since relocating its offices to the Cincinnati metro area in 2020. Today, the company has moved into a new office space, less than two years after moving into the region, during a pandemic. Nearly tripling the size of its office space to make room for its growing team.
